Who We Are

Our Story

Kingsview Church began as a church plant, emerging from open farmland into a thriving, faithful community of believers. Our roots go back to the early 1980s, around 1984. What started as a small gathering has become a church deeply committed to serving.

Kingsview thrives because of our strong volunteer culture. From teaching and worship to finances, leadership, elders, and hospitality, every part of our church is shaped by those who serve. We believe everyone has a role to play in making Christ known.  At Kingsview, we don’t just tell stories—we celebrate God’s story in the lives of His people. We can’t wait to hear yours!

Our Beliefs

There is one living and true God revealed in nature as the Creator and Righteous Ruler of the universe. The Bible teaches that God created everything visible and invisible out of nothing. The Bible teaches that He is one, yet has always existed without beginning or ending as three distinct and equal persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. He has eternally existed in three personalities: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and are one God.

(Gen. 1:1,26,27; 3:22; Ps. 90:2; Matthew 28:19; I Peter 1:2; 2 Cor. 13:14)

Jesus Christ is God’s Son and co-equal with the Father. He has existed from the beginning of time, yet lived on earth during the first century A.D. as the God-Man. Throughout His earthly life, He was completely God and completely human at the same time. After living a perfect, sinless life, Jesus offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for every human being who has ever lived by dying on a Roman cross. After three days in the grave, He defeated sin and death by rising bodily from the grave, which demonstrates His power over sin and death. He then ascended to Heaven and will return to earth one day to reign as King.

(Matthew 1:22-23, Isaiah 9:6, John 1:1-5 & 14:10-30, Hebrews 4:14-15, I Corinthians 15:3-4, Romans 1:3-4, Acts 1:9-11, I Timothy 6:14-15, Titus 2:13)

The Holy Spirit is a full and co-equal part of the Trinity. He is present in the world to make all people aware and understand their need for Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit lives inside every follower of Jesus from the moment they decide to follow Him. The Spirit provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance for life, ministry and spiritual growth. As Christ followers we seek to live under His control daily.

(2 Cor 3:17; John 16:7-13; 14:16-17; Acts 1:8; I Cor 2:12; 3:16; Eph 1:13; Gal 5:25; Eph 5:18)

People are made in the spiritual image of God, to be like Him in character. People are the supreme object of God’s creation. Man (Adam) was created innocent without sin, but disobeyed God and fell from that into a sinful state with a sinful nature. His posterity inherited a fallen nature and all are sinners. Although every person has tremendous potential for good, all of us are marred by an attitude of disobedience toward God called “sin”. This attitude separates people from God and causes many problems in the life of mankind.

(Gen 1:27; Ps 8:3-6; Is: 53:6a; Rom 3:23; Is 59: 1-2)

Salvation is God’s free gift to us but we must accept it. Our disobedient nature has eternally separated us from our Creator. No matter how hard we try, we can never earn our way back into God’s presence. Our only hope is to repent of our sins and trust in Jesus Christ as God’s offer for forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin’s penalty. When you make that decision to place your faith in Jesus Christ as your provision, you step into the eternal and abundant life Jesus promises for all believers.

(Rom 5:21; 6:23; Eph 2:8-9; John 14:6; 1:12; Titus 3:5; Gal 3:26)

God made you to exist forever. Heaven is a perfect place, and since none of us is perfect, we are all headed for an eternity of separation from God if we do not know Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. God sent Jesus: to pay the price for our sins so we can spend eternity with Him. What you decide about Jesus Christ in this life will determine where you will spend eternity. If you reject Him, you’ll be eternally separated from God in Hell. If you accept Him, you’ll spend it eternally connected with Him in Heaven. Heaven and Hell are places of eternal existence.

(John 3:16, I John 2:25 & 5:11-13, Romans 6:23, Revelation 20:15)
